Ortiz has no answers against Rays

Russ Ortiz faced six batters and couldn't get any outs in Baltimore's 14-7 loss to Tampa Bay. The Devil Rays scored six runs in the first inning -- all charged to Ortiz -- and swatted a grand slam off Adam Loewen, the road team's first reliever. Ortiz has yet to win in 2006, but the man he replaced Friday, Erik Bedard, had won six straight starts.
