Notes: Gibbons activated from DL

The Orioles had a familiar face back in the clubhouse and the cleanup spot Saturday, as Jay Gibbons was activated from the disabled list and started as the designated hitter. Gibbons, who suffered from a sprained ligament in his right knee in the last week of May, made a brief return in mid-June before reinjuring the knee.
