Notes: Chen to start against Yankees

Bruce Chen will start Friday's series opener against the Yankees, and Kris Benson, who's still recovering from right elbow tendinitis, will not pitch this weekend, and may end up on the disabled list. Chen, who's winless in 11 starts this season, pitched 5 1/3 innings Sunday against the White Sox.
