Notes: Benson gets elbow examined

Something happened on the Orioles' way to naming a starting pitcher for Saturday. They found out they might need one for Sunday, too. Right-hander Kris Benson, who received a no-decision Tuesday and would have been scheduled to face the White Sox on Sunday at home, was sent to Baltimore to get his right elbow looked at.
